Locale completion
3 of 5 locales published β’ 2 in workflow
Maintain a single master product record while independently managing translated title, description, features, and marketing copy for each locale. Language layers are additive, they never touch the source.
Define channel-to-locale relationships once. When a product is ready in German, it routes to DACH storefronts and marketplaces automatically.
Assign translation tasks per locale, track progress field by field, and set approval gates before any locale goes live.
Per-locale completeness across your full catalog in one view.
Route each locale to the right storefront or marketplace automatically.
Override individual attributes for a locale without duplicating the product record. Units of measure, regional certifications, legal disclaimers, and pricing variants all live on the locale layer.
Assign hundreds of stock-keeping units to a locale in one action.
Approved strings suggested on matching new content.
Know what is missing in each market before you publish.
Require a regional manager or legal reviewer to approve translated content before it publishes to any channel. Gates are configurable per role and per field group.
Select your role to see how Product Localization reduces your specific bottleneck.
Product Data Manager
Responsible for catalog completeness across all markets
Regional Marketing Lead
Needs localized content live in their market, fast
Ecommerce Operations Lead
Manages multi-channel publishing and storefront accuracy
Translation Coordinator
Assigns and tracks translation tasks across languages
Product Data Manager
You no longer rely on spreadsheet exports to know what is missing. The completeness dashboard shows, by locale, which attributes still need translation and flags products blocked from publishing because a required locale field is empty.
Regional Marketing Lead
You submit a market-launch request from within the product information management system. The system assigns translation tasks automatically and notifies you when each locale is approved and ready. Your launch date stops depending on someone replying to a Slack message.
Ecommerce Operations Lead
Channel-to-locale rules are configured once. When a product is marked ready in French, the system sends that locale's content to French storefronts and marketplaces automatically. You stop being the manual router between the catalog and channels.
Translation Coordinator
You assign translation tasks per locale and field directly from the catalog. Translators work on locale-specific fields only and cannot touch master attributes. Completion status updates in real time so you always know what is outstanding before a deadline.
Localization workflow runs inside the same catalog your team uses for enrichment and governance. No separate tool, no duplicate data entry, no re-import risk.
Define locale structure
Add locales to your catalog and configure which attributes are localizable for each market.
Assign translation tasks
Bulk-assign stock keeping units to translators per locale. Each translator only sees fields they are responsible for.
Review and approve per locale
Regional reviewers approve translated content through the approval workflow before it can publish.
Publish to mapped channels
Approved locale content routes to every mapped storefront and marketplace automatically.

Lano Equipment, Inc
Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer EcommerceA long-standing regional dealer running business-to-business and business-to-consumer channels, with a large, complex product catalog that had to be accurate across every online channel.
Inventory and parts data were incomplete or unavailable online. Manual processes, data siloes, and missed automation created constant errors that reached live product listings.
A headless commerce platform with application programming interface-first ERP integration was built to synchronize equipment and parts data in real time. Product records, including descriptions, specifications, and channel-specific data, were unified and automated across every sales channel. Manual re-entry was eliminated.
Real-time ERP to channel data sync
Automated product data accuracy across all channels
Marketing workflows data-driven via Klaviyo integration
% online inventory visibility, complete, real-time, across every channel
Automated synchronization reduced manual data handling and improved accuracy across every system. The platform positioned Lano Equipment for continued expansion with a future-ready product data foundation.
The headless architecture positioned Lano Equipment with a future-ready platform capable of supporting continued expansion across digital sales, rentals, and service operations.
The localization gap in most standalone catalog tools is not translation, it is execution. Translating content is step one. Publishing the right version to the right channel at the right time without a manual step in between is where most platforms fall short.

You are entering 4 new markets over 18 months. Your catalog has 2,000 units. Product Localization lets you run parallel translation workflows without slowing your master catalog operations.

Products require country-specific certifications, voltage specs, and legal copy. Locale-specific attribute overrides let you maintain one product record while publishing region-correct specs to every portal.

Each marketplace has a different language, format, and content requirement. Channel mapping defines the rules. Localized content reaches each marketplace without manual reformatting per listing.
You sell in more than one country and manage product content manually per region
Your catalog has regulatory or certification differences that vary by country
Translation errors have reached live storefronts or marketplace listings
Your team exports spreadsheets to share product content with translators
You only sell in one language and have no plans to expand to new markets
Your catalog has fewer than 50 units and localization is done once per year
Your operation does not require approval workflows or governance between translation and publish

Book a Demo βYes. Translators are given role-based access to locale-specific fields only. The master product record, shared attributes, and product metadata are read-only for translation roles. This means no accidental overwrites and no master data risk from translation workflows.
Each product has a locale layer per market. Within that layer, you can override specific attributes, including units, voltage, regulatory certifications, legal copy, and regional pricing, without creating a duplicate product record. The master record stays clean. The channel receives the overridden value for its mapped locale.
Yes. Approval gates can be configured per locale and per field type. For example, you can require your legal team to approve regulatory copy in a locale before that field can trigger a publish, while marketing copy in the same locale can auto-approve after translation is marked complete. Gates are configurable per role and per field group.
Locale publishing is independent. A product can be live in English and German while Japanese translation is still in progress. Each locale publishes when its completeness threshold and approval requirements are met. No locale blocks another from publishing. You can set fallback rules or block the locale from publishing until minimum fields are ready.
For teams using in-house translators, the catalog handles the full workflow, including assignment, tracking, approval, and publish. For teams that work with external translation agencies or Translation Management Systems, Redefine supports application programming interface-level integration so content can be exported to your agency tool and imported back with status tracking preserved. The catalog remains the system of record either way.
