Get a QuoteRedefineรCorporate Gear ยท Full-stack engagement
Experience research, a relentless split testing program, a headless storefront, accessibility engineering, and Klaviyo lifecycle email turned a crowded branded-apparel market into a growth engine. Annual revenue now exceeds $45 million +.
Summary
Corporate Gear is a corporate branding and apparel ecommerce retailer that sells branded merchandise and apparel to businesses. Redefine Innovations ran a multi-year engagement covering user experience research, conversion rate optimization, a structured split testing program, tailored landing pages, search engine optimization, Klaviyo lifecycle email, accessibility remediation, a headless storefront rebuild, and enterprise resource planning integration for order and fulfillment workflows. Continuous, data-driven optimization helped Corporate Gear scale annual revenue past $45 million + in a highly competitive market.
The challenge
Corporate Gear competes in one of the most contested corners of ecommerce: branded apparel for businesses. The product range was strong. The site experience was not keeping pace.
Usability gaps and unclear user journeys limited lead generation and engagement. Buyers researching bulk orders could not find quote paths quickly.
Optimization efforts lacked structure. Changes shipped on instinct rather than evidence, so wins were impossible to separate from noise.
The approach
An experience and growth track moved fast on conversion. A platform and trust track rebuilt the foundations underneath it.
User experience research, session analysis, split and multivariate testing, landing pages, personalization, SEO, and Klaviyo lifecycle email.
Headless storefront, ERP integration, order and fulfillment automation, accessibility remediation to WCAG 2.1 AA*, security hardening, and analytics instrumentation.
The testing engine
Every meaningful change shipped as an experiment with a hypothesis, control, and verdict.
Hypothesis: Replacing a 9-column mega menu with four intent-led paths will lift product page reach and quote starts.
Hypothesis: Splitting a long quote form into two steps and moving it above the fold will raise completed quote requests.
Hypothesis: Adding trust signals near the buy box will reduce hesitation on high-value orders.
Experience design
A clean, professional type system in Outfit, in corporate navy and charcoal on light gray, that keeps complex bulk and decoration options legible for procurement teams and one-off buyers alike.
Information architecture mirrors how buyers search by brand, use case, and quantity.
Clearer journeys from category to decorated product to checkout with dead ends removed.
Returning buyers see segment-specific merchandising and reorder shortcuts.
Before and after

Accessibility engineering
The platform
A fast headless storefront in front; ERP, inventory, and in-house fulfillment behind it, synced in near real-time. Every order, quote, and inventory change routes through one integration layer.
1 ยท Integration hub architecture
Animated lines show live data paths: channels and the storefront push events into the integration hub, which fans out to ERP, fulfillment, lifecycle email, and analytics. Measurement events flow back into the roadmap.
2 ยท Quote-to-fulfillment sequence
A single quote touches six systems in sequence: validation and fulfillment routing happen before the buyer receives confirmation, so decorated orders never commit without inventory and in-house decoration capacity confirmed.

Email & lifecycle automation ยท Klaviyo
For a considered B2B purchase like decorated corporate apparel, most revenue is left in the quote pipeline. Klaviyo flows meet buyers at each decision point: recap, rep contact, nurture, and reorder prompts, so a meaningful share of revenue is earned automatically from the existing audience.
Corporate buyers often request quotes from multiple vendors before committing. The flows keep Corporate Gear in the conversation after the first visit: syncing profile data from the headless storefront, routing high-value quotes to reps, and nurturing accounts that need more time. Email share of revenue climbed from 9% to 24%* while quote requests rose 63% year over year*.

The results
Performance comes from the Google Analytics framework and revenue is reconciled to the ERP order book. Metrics marked with * are illustrative and pending verification.

"The testing program changed how we make decisions. We stopped arguing about layouts and started shipping winners. The revenue curve speaks for itself."
"The platform and workflow work gave us speed, trust, and a measurable path to growth quarter after quarter."
Timeline
A phased program where each stage unlocked the next: research informed tests, tests validated the rebuild, and the platform carried continuous optimization.
