Redefine made Business Central the one record behind JWE Inc's Shopify store, its Uniform Market stores and SEKO Warehouse. Data now syncs both ways, and the manual work is automated.

Sources of truth
3 → 1
Stock, orders and customers live in Business Central. Every channel follows it.

Summary
JWE Inc sells through Shopify and several Uniform Market stores, and ships through SEKO Warehouse. Redefine set up Dynamics 365 Business Central as the one record for stock, orders and customers, linked every channel both ways, connected the warehouse in real time and automated routing and invoicing. Three platforms now run on one source of truth.

The real problem
Stock lived in one place, orders in another and customers in a third. People carried the data between them by hand.
The challenge
Every order, stock move and customer record needed a person to keep it the same everywhere.
Shopify, the Uniform Market stores and SEKO Warehouse each held different records.
Order routing, invoicing and stock updates meant typing data again in each system.
Systems showed different quantities and statuses, so checking them took hours.
Each jump in order volume added more manual work.
3 systems
Three versions of every order. Without a central system of record, the team spent its days on exports, spreadsheet checks and re-entry.
The approach
Two tracks ran side by side: set up Business Central and wire in every channel, then automate the work people did by hand.
Track 01 · Configure and integrate
Business Central set up to JWE Inc's own rules, with clean data at go-live and two-way links to every channel.
Delivered: configured ERP · data baseline · integrations
Track 02 · Automate and scale
Automation on Microsoft integration services routes orders, sends invoices and syncs data with no one in the loop.
Delivered: automation · deployments · a foundation built to scale
The implementation
Phase 1
System mapping and requirements
Phase 2
Business Central setup and data
Phase 3
Shopify, Uniform Market and SEKO Warehouse
Phase 4
Workflows deployed and tested
Phase 5
Launch, tune and scale
Each phase ended with a working demo before the next one opened, so the business kept running.
Integration architecture
Shopify, the Uniform Market stores and SEKO Warehouse all talk to one system. Orders and stock flow in and out on their own.

Before you ask
A Dynamics 365 Business Central setup with JWE Inc's data loaded at go-live, two-way links to Shopify and the Uniform Market stores, a real-time link to SEKO Warehouse, and automation on Microsoft integration services.
Shopify, multiple Uniform Market stores including the wholesale channel, and SEKO Warehouse for third-party logistics. Business Central is the system of record for all of them.
It routes confirmed orders to the warehouse, sends an invoice when a shipment posts, pushes record changes to every platform and alerts purchasing when stock runs low.
